All new A. H. Beard adjustable bases come with a universal headboard bracket, which means its a bracket which can attach to many types of headboards not all the word attach can mean many types of things its best to refer to your headboard /bedhead installation manual.
if you have a headboard with your adjustable base it is highly important that you install the headboard bracket so headboard is a safe distance away from your adjustable base and wont cause strain on your motors.
