Your new A.H. Beard mattress is made with all new comfort materials and may take 4-6 weeks for it to adjust to your body. Mattresses displayed in stores are generally a little softer than your new mattresses as they have been displayed and tested over a longer period of time. This changes the feel of the display mattress into a "normalised" states.

Different types of bases can affect the overall feel of your mattress. Ensure your base is fully supporting the mattress similar to the base displayed in store. If you are uncertain, try placing your mattress on a flat surface such as the floor to compare the feel.
